Why the quotation is individual
Denmark Hair Transplant Clinics provides a written price in Danish kroner (DKK) after the proposed care has been assessed. The number of grafts, treatment area, method, complexity and follow-up arrangements all need to be clear before a price can be compared meaningfully.
A clinic’s starting price may describe a smaller procedure than the one you need. Equally, a package with a high graft limit may offer more grafts than your donor area can responsibly supply. Ask what the proposed plan would achieve on your scalp and how it protects the donor area for the future.
Read the procedure description first
The quote should name the treatment area and explain the planned method. FUE, FUT and DHI describe aspects of the procedure; they do not, by themselves, establish its quality or suitability.
Check whether the graft number is an estimate or a maximum and whether it refers to follicular units or hairs. Ask how the final graft count will be recorded. A sensible plan considers the recipient area, existing hair and the donor supply together. See the graft-planning guide.
What is included in the price?
Ask the clinic to complete a written breakdown, including any item marked as optional or charged separately.

“All-inclusive” needs a definition. Ask what is excluded as well as included. A routine review, an urgent assessment and a further procedure are different services; the quote should make their arrangements understandable.
Compare care, staffing and follow-up
Ask who will consult with you, who performs each surgical stage and who is responsible for your care afterwards. Obtain the actual treatment address and relevant registration details. Danish registration information can be checked through the Danish Patient Safety Authority.
Review the expected benefit, risks and alternatives as well as the price. Photographs are useful when the original clinic, treatment date and follow-up interval are clear. Budget beyond the operation
Allow for travel, accommodation if needed and time away from work. Ask whether the first wash or review requires another visit and how later follow-up will be arranged. This matters if you are travelling to Copenhagen from elsewhere in Denmark, Sweden or Norway.
Ongoing care for native hair may be discussed separately from surgery. Ask which medicines or other treatments are appropriate, how long they may be used and what their continuing cost would be. Do not assume every patient needs the same products or supplements.
Deposits and finance
Read the Denmark booking terms before paying. Confirm what would happen if treatment is postponed, cancelled or found unsuitable after further assessment. Keep the written quote and terms with your booking information.

Insurance and public funding
Do not include insurance or public reimbursement in your budget unless the relevant insurer or authority has confirmed your specific treatment in writing. Ask what is covered, what is excluded and whether prior approval is needed. A clinical recommendation and a funding decision are separate matters.
Questions patients often ask
Can I get a price from photographs?
Photographs can support an initial discussion, but they do not fully measure donor density, scalp condition or suitability. Ask what further examination is required before the plan and final quotation are confirmed.
Do more grafts always mean better value?
No. The distribution and safe donor supply matter. A larger number spread over a much larger area may produce less apparent density, and a donor area that has been overharvested cannot simply be replenished.
Will another procedure be included later?
Do not assume so. Ask about the review process, any policy on further treatment and the circumstances in which additional charges could arise. Future hair loss and the available donor supply also need assessment.
